Texas Rollergirls win National Championship
I just got back from Tucson, AZ where I played in the Dust Devil Flat Track Derby tournament. It was a crazy 3 days of nothing but derby. I kept singing "derby in the morning, derby in the evening, derby at supper time." There were 20 teams from across the nation that participated and my team, Texas Rollergirls, finished first! I get to say I'm a national champion..resume builder :) I have a tremendous respect for every skater who played this weekend. We all made history together.
