Jason in 3-D

I can't remember the last time I saw a 3-D movie. It has been years. I went this past week to see the in 3-Dimension version of Friday the 13th Part III or IV.. not sure which..really after II you know you're in trouble. Needless to say, it is the best movie in 3-D ever! My friends and I filled a row at Alamo South. It was one of those movies where the audience felt free to break the code of silence and make silly comments aloud. I was cracking up through out the movie.

Spring Fashion Shows (not one but deux)

Part One: My friend so generously gave me two tickets to University of Texas Spring Fashion show. I of course took Jesse (Amet and Sasha). We started the night with a few drinks at Club Deville then headed on over to the Erwin Center. The designs were impressive. Not surprisingly there were tons of short shorts. So cute, especially the ones with the tailored cuffs. My favorite designs are always the ones that use vibrant color combinations. Jesse and I ended our night a Club Deville too.
Part Deux: Tomorrow Saturday April 29 2am (yes 2am) at the Blanton Museum of arts, the Austin Craft Mafia and friends are throwing our own little fashion show with designs inspired by the art. I choose a modern piece to draw inspiration from. Hope's bringing her boom box so come on out and join us for some early morning fun!

Shop at the ACM store

All of us in the Austin Craft Mafia created a special something something of limited quantity to sell on the ACM site. It's all there at our new store! I absolutely love the earrings Hope painted especially the ones with the heart tear drop. My item is this hidden pocket scarf. Here's a picture of it taken by my friend Aubrey Edwards who is an amazing photographer. She was a super trooper the day she took this photo..she was down and out suffering from Austin's allegeries but it didn't slow her down any. More of her photos will soon be on my website along with some new items.

Back that sh*t up!

My hard drive crashed the other week. You probably know to back up your data and if you haven't recently..well, my words of advice, go back up your data. Seriously, go do it..go on..like now! The pain of data loss is so easy to avoid..oh how I wish I backed my sh*t up! Luckily for me I still had some photos on my camera. Here's one I took of this lady at the SXSW High Times party. I love her stockings! I have a video clip of her dancing that's just absolutely adorable. If I knew how to post it I would so you could enjoy it too.
